Jen Miller

Jen Miller believes in the value and power of the written word in sharing truth and story, in life and in business. Combining her journalism background with a passion for customer service and marketing, Jen built NeedSomeoneToBlog.com, a blogging service focused on delivering highly-targeted, local search engine optimized blogging and page content.

As the business grew, Jen discovered areas that could further develop authority, garner trust, and build engagement for her clients online. Her agency NeedSomeoneTo.com combines these services for clients, sharing engaging messages of community and industry knowledge with their customers and followers. Jen also hosts a podcast, Be Seen Blogging, delivering website content tips in under 10 minutes and is co-host of Community Connections, a monthly show on the WP Watercooler network.

Jen Miller believes in the WordPress Community and founded WomenWhoWP.org, a nonprofit dedicated to encouraging women in their WordPress journey. She also founded a specialty Meetup in Orange County to realize that goal.

Serving as a volunteer blogger for WordCamp Los Angeles in 2016, Content Organizer in 2017 and as Content Organizer for WordCamp Orange County 2017, Jen is active in the local WordPress Community. She is a contributor on the WordPress Marketing Team.

Jen presented at WordCamp Orange County in 2016 on Creating and Maintaining Sites While Mobile. In addition to speaking at WordCamp Austin, Jen presented at WordCamp Europe and WordCamp San Diego on “Local SEO – Creating Website Content That Matters Regionally,” offered a workshop called, “Creating Your First Piece of Content & Beyond” at WordCamp Los Angeles and spoke on “I Wrote My Blog Post, Now What?” at WordCamp Sacramento in 2017.

Fun fact:  Jen loves Texas and armadillos. She began collecting armadillos as a child and her armadillo collection has been featured at her local library and the Orange County Fair in California.
