She\u2019s an avid knitter, and other knitters seem to enjoy her explanations of how she constructed things (they\u2019re called patterns in the knitting world). Grant is a native Austinite and WordPress chef. He currently develops websites for the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, where WordPress has become a favorite platform because of its flexibility, ease of use, and awesome power in the cloud. Also an avid volunteer, he spends hours each week at Dell Children\u2019s Hospital, and serves on the board of directors of Amber\u2019s Angels, a children\u2019s non-profit in Austin. Grant uses software to make things which help people and organizations be more successful on the web. Lately, Grant likes to wander GitHub, avoid people who use words like \u201cparadigm\u201d and \u201csynergy\u201d, and is taking his sweet time getting his pilot\u2019s license. When she\u2019s not worrying about the finer details of forking and the GPL, she\u2019s helping out with the project\u2019s future by wrangling WordPress\u2019 documentation.
